Respect, everybody wants it, but few actually get it. True respect is not something that you can impose or ask from others; it is something that others give to you from their own will and it is not that easy to get. We live in a feminized society and most people are egocentric, immature and do not follow traditions and honor codes anymore.
A lot of people will be jealous of your success and start hating you instead of respecting you. They will try to lower you down by every sneaky way possible in order to get themselves up in the group’s social hierarchy.
There is no hack in order to earn people’s respect, it’s a long and hard process and you will have to do your best every day. Nevertheless, here are 5 core things you can do, that will surely lead you in the right direction.
1 – Start by respecting yourself.
Why would other people ever remotely start respecting you if you do not even respect yourself first?
I know this is basic, but it is also fundamental and essential thus worth to be mentioned again.
The first step is to take profound pride and respect in who you are, mentally and physically.
Do everything you can to completely stop all negative self-talk. You receive enough trash talk and negative feedback coming from others in your life, you absolutely do not need to add some yourself on top of that.
On the physical side, always maintain excellent hygiene, and do your best to look great. Well-shaved, clean haircut and wear clothes that are just slightly better than those of your peers.
Also, only nourish yourself with the best foods you can get and follow a good strength-training program.
Not only in the long term, you will look better and be more vibrant but it is also a way of programming your own subconscious mind. The reason is, if at your core, you really believe that you truly deserve respect, you will naturally sub-communicate it with subtle body language cues that others will pick up without even noticing.
It might take time, but if you highly respect yourself and take all the congruent actions that go with it, every single day, you will eventually start broadcasting “I GET RESPECT” all around you, at all time.
Your personality will scream, “I am used to be respected”, thus other people will conclude, “This guy must be respected”!
2 – Respect others.
Let’s count, how many of those people who don’t give you any respect, on the flip side, you really appreciate and respect?
I bet the count is close to 0, right?
How strange is it, that you negatively discriminate the people who bring you down and favor those who bring you up?
That’s right, in general, people will only give you respect if you first respect them. Another basic rule that so many people tend to forget in their everyday life.
Respect is a 2-way street!
You don’t have to agree with every stupid shit they say, but listen to their point and be polite. Anyway, most of the time, it will not bring you any benefit to destroy their opinions.
Just listen, be open-minded and listen even more.
After a few questions, if you do not agree, you can say: I understand and respect your views but I’m not convinced. Let’s agree to disagree on that one.
It’s a good idea to verbalize that you respect them or their views, at least once. It will surely increase their respect for you and you can be sure they will remember it for a while.
On that train of thought, no backstabbing, no gossip and no trash talk when you are not with them because this is a sure road to lose everybody’s respect.
Good relationships are bidirectional, make them feel respected and it might be the most valuable gift anybody gave them for a long time.
I promise you, most will be more than happy to return you the favor, with respect.
3 – Work hard.
People will respect you if they think you can be a good role model, if you are doing at least a little more than they do. They respect those they admire, those who are successful, and those who are on top of their game.
When you think about someone who’s lazier than you, do you think: “He’s so chill, I really respect that guy!”?
Unless you’re a pothead, not really.
However, if that guy works hard, take risks, always give his best and add real value in this world, now you’re starting to have more respect for him!
People, who never complain, self-improve over time, work hard and do their best to create something of value are the same people who have the money and are successful in life.
They are the people that we respect.
We respect them because they accomplish something, because they choose the hard path, because they took the challenge.
So, be that guy, get to work and take the challenge.
4 – Be a man of your word.
When someone doesn’t keep his promises, he better have a good explanation because otherwise trust and respect will go out of the window in a matter of a second.
How dumb you need to be to not understand that?
Yet, how many people you know do not keep their word or cannot even be on time for a fucking meeting?
Unfortunately, the majority. That’s also why the majority of people never get respect.
Once you have lied to someone, his trust in you might never fully recover and it’s very rare to respect someone you don’t even trust.
If you want respect, keep your promises and deliver on time, every single time.
5 – Have some balls
Look, if you are the nice-guy who’s at the service of his girlfriend, or a white-knight feminist who stab his fellow men in the back with the hope to get some pussy, chances are your not about to get some respect soon enough.
Being nice, politically correct and putting the pussy on a pedestal will never bring you any respect.
It translates into being weak, full of shit and submissive.
It is just a bad strategy.
Take the red pill, wake up from the trance, and grow some balls.
Stop swallowing mainstream bull-shit, stand up for yourself or for something bigger.
Believe in your own ideas and speak your mind.
Take some risk to move forward, learn to say, “No” and stop apologizing for being yourself.
For a man, to have respect, you need to have a certain level of courage.
Would you respect a coward?
Yeah, the kind of mangina who will piss his pants and betray you as soon as the competition shows up with bigger guns!
I’m sure not.
Even if you live in a feminized society, understand that pussies never get respect.
That why I keep talking about how strength training is important, its because it increases your level of testosterone and literally makes you have bigger balls.
The strength of the body and mind help when it comes to courage.
- Respect yourself.
- Respect others.
- Work hard.
- Be a man of your word.
- Have some balls.
Those are the basics to get respect and like in anything, it’s always a must to have strong basics.
On this, stay strong and share if you like.
